“My paintings are about the beauty and mystery of Time and Nature. With the intention of harmony, balance, interest and vitality but no preconceived image, I build the paintings by successive fenestrated layers of color applied with unusual tools according to whatever the painting seems to call for, often resulting in multiple perspectives or a kind of geologic pattern recording the construction. Thus, my process emulates the game of life where the future is unpredictable while the past never completely disappears.”
